Can I change my Greek Golden Visa to a long-term resident of EU visa?

I am a Greek Golden Visa holder that has lived in Greece for 5 years. I know that the Golden Visa program does not allow the holder to enter the employment market. But I heard from the Greek Migration Ministry for Foreign Affairs that there is another type of Long-Term Resident of EU visa, which can be applied with several conditions. I am thinking about if I could establish a company with a Greek citizen together in Greece and run the business as a holder to receive 8500 euros annually for 2 years which will reach the income condition to apply for the long-term residency. Technically, how am I able to apply or change my golden visa to the long-term resident of EU visa?

Regarding your questions I would like to give some crucial information that will influence your final decision: Your Golden Visa residence permit, according to a recently voted amendment, has been added to the category of residence permits that are eligible for the submission of an application for the acquisition of Greek citizenship after 7 years of legal and permanent stay in the country, under the preconditions of the Greek Citizenship Code. Secondly, as a Greek citizen you have access to all the rights that Greek citizens have, including the labor market. As a Greek Golden Visa holder, you are not allowed to be employed but you have the right to establish a company as shareholder and run a business activity. Technically, there is an established legal procedure to cancel your existing residence permit and apply for long-term residence permit under the conditions provided by the law.
