Could immigration intention be an issue if I apply for a Golden Visa while traveling in Greece?

I have all documents ready for my Greek Golden Visa application, and I have a valid Schengen tourist visa. I want to be cautious about my investment, though. I would like to travel to Athens and talk to my attorney face to face before I submit the application. I know that for some countries, it is risky for an investor to submit an immigration application while traveling in that country with a tourist visa. I am wondering if Greece has similar rules.

Please be aware that you have to travel to Greece before appointing a petition for a Golden Visa. Also, first you have to proceed with the purchase of the property or the investment with a valid Schengen visa when entering to the country. After this procedure is concluded, you may apply for a Golden Visa.

The procedure for a Golden Visa is not similar to the application for work permit. A tourist visa creates no conflict issues as far as the Golden Visa is concerned. Your investment project is going be guaranteed if you are advised face to face and step by step by the attorney you choose and trust. Your attorney would also help you with the management risk in whatever difficulties you are going to deal with in the following years.

An entry visa, that is, legal entry in the country, is necessary to obtain a resident permit for owners of real estate property. Following the issuance of a resident permit and for its duration, there is no need for a visa. Pursuant to Law 4251/2014, any third-country citizen who has entered the country legally holding a visa of any type has the right to apply for a resident permit. According to the preconditions of the Greek law, the interested party must submit an application for an entry visa type C (tourist) to the Greek consulate authority in his country of origin as first step. Also, if someone holds a Schengen visa by a different country, he has the ability to enter Greece and settle issues regarding the purchase of the property too.

Not only there is no issue whatsoever, but even more so, your legal entrance to Greece with a valid visa is one of the prerequisites in order to apply for the Greek resideny permit (i.e., the Greek Golden Visa).
