How can I add both my wives when applying for Portugal’s Golden Visa program?

I would like to bring my family from India to Europe for better education and quality of life. I am selling several companies so funds is not a problem. Is there a way to speed up the process for my wives and kids?

As an applicant or as a residence permit holder in Portugal, you are entitled to the family regrouping of your wife, provided you prove your family bonds (in this case, via your marriage certificate). However, as bigamy is a crime in Portugal, as legally foreseen in the criminal law in force, it is impossible to apply for both your wives under your application. As such, your children, and only one of your wives would be the only family members you’d be able to apply for under these rules.

One of the main advantages of getting a golden visa is the possibility of family reunion, that is, the holder of the golden visa can bring his or her family with them. However, this possibility can only apply to your children since, according to Portuguese criminal law, bigamy is a crime. That is, it is totally punishable to be married to more than one person.
