How can I initiate a golden visa application in Greece while still in the process of finalizing my real estate purchase?

Do I need to wait until the sale is finalized? I already have the funds deposited in a local bank but the transaction is yet to be finalized. However, I want to make it in time to apply with the old threshold which will expire soon. Is there a way to accelerate this process?

You can submit your application only when the transaction has been finalized and the property has been registered on your name. But if your legal team estimates that you won't have realized your investment until the extended timeline's to 31/7/2023 expiration, you can sign a notarial presales agreement and pay a 10% advance payment as engagement fee. This movement ensures you that you keep the right to buy under 250.000 euros till the end of 2023.
