How could a past overstay impact my eligibility for a Greek Golden Visa?

Three years ago when I was visiting France, I overstayed my Schengen tourist visa by three months. I have not visited Europe since. Now I want to participate in the Greek Golden Visa program. Could this overstay impact my eligibility to apply?

In order to enter Greece, a tourist visa is required by the Greek embassy. Different jurisdictions apply in every country of Europe.

Such a case shouldn't have an impact in your Golden Visa application.

In order to enter the country and proceed to a property acquisition and resident permit application consequently, the interested party must submit an application for an entry visa type C to the Greek consulate authority in his country of origin. At this stage it should be judged if there is a problem with your mentioned case or no, but every European country has its own legislation.
