Is solo travel possible with a D visa in Greece?

My husband is applying for a D visa i Greece and if the matter arise, can he travel to Greece alone or do I have to be with him? How much does this visa cost? Can he work while on this visa?

Unfortunately, the provided information is not adequate for an accurate answer to your request. For which reason your husband was granted the National Visa-D? In Greek Immigration Law Visa-D is the initial step of the process for different kind of residence permits, such as FIP or Digital Nomad residence permit. Upon provision of this information, we will be able to answer on his right to work or not. As per your obligation to travel with him same time there is not such an obligation. You can apply for your Visa-D as his family member at any time, but the parallel process is much easier in terms of submitting documents and approval status. While the general national visa fee is set at 180 euros, the fees differ due to the different amount of money for different categories.
