Benjamin S. Green is a Canadian immigration lawyer. He is currently an associate at Green and Spiegel LLP, based in Toronto.
Founded in 1962, Green and Spiegel is Canada’s oldest immigration law practice. Its headquarters are in Toronto, with U.S. offices in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Colorado.
Green, with the firm since 2018, assists clients with Canadian immigration needs, including both corporate and personal immigration matters. He has experience working with applications under NAFTA-exempt status, work permits, corporate employee transfers, federal skilled worker applications and the temporary foreign worker program.
Prior to joining Green and Spiegel, Green was a summer student at National Hockey League Players' Association, where he prepared briefs, consulted on contract negotiations and advised agents and players. He also interned at Green and Spiegel, the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies in Toronto and for a member of parliament representing York Centre, Ontario. Green also served as a business development intern for J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, a marketing firm.
Green has a bachelor’s degree in American studies from Western University in Ontario. He is an alumnus of York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, he was active with the Osgoode Hall Mooting Society, where he was awarded for both written and oral advocacy.
