How can American business owners benefit from the Cayman's Global Citizen Concierge Program during the pandemic?

I'm a U.S. citizen and I run a small tech business in New York. I'm looking to move quickly from the U.S. to a place from where I can run my business smoothly while simultaneously also get residency/citizenship benefits. What options would you suggest in the Cayman Islands?

You can certainly come to the Cayman Islands quickly on the global citizenship program and "work from home" here for up to two years. Once you are here, you can look for a property to purchase, and then apply for residency by investment in real estate. Certain criteria need to be met, but the process is generally straightforward. There are two programs. First, the 25-year residency certificate that can be renewed for another 25 year period: - Invest a minimum of $1.2 million in developed real estate or invest a minimum $600,000 in developed real estate, and put the remaining funds on deposit in a local bank. - Demonstrate you earn at least $144,000/year from work not conducted in the local economy. The second option is the certificate of residency for persons of independent means: - Invest a minimum of $2.4 million in developed real estate. - Demonstrate you earn an income to sustain yourself from work not conducted in the local economy. - This program permits you to reside for life in Cayman. - You can also apply for a variation to have the right to work locally and apply for a British Overseas Territory passport, and then a U.K. passport within give years. There is no quick path to citizenship here but you can get permanent residency quickly, usually three-to-four months, and a second passport within five years. There are no restrictions on foreign ownership of property, no alien landholding licenses, and no property taxes. Banks here will typically finance up to 70% of the purchase price for qualified applicants.
