How can foreign investors buy real estate in Japan without having to visit during the pandemic?

I'm an investor based in India looking to diversify my real estate portfolio and acquisitions abroad. What options would you advise me if I'm interested in permanent residency obtained through the Investor Business Manager visa in Japan.

You can buy most types of real estate even when you are not a Japanese national and not residing in Japan; you can register yourself as the owner of the purchased property as well. There is no program granting a permanent residency-by-investment in Japan. You can be entitled to a permanent residency application after staying in Japan for some years following a proper work-visa status. You can obtain a business manager visa when you start your own business at the same time as investing in real estate.
