How can I be sure that the property I'm buying for CBI in Turkey is worth the asking price?

I've heard that foreign investors looking to buy property in Turkey might get cheated by agents into buying real estate that might not actually be worth $250,000. How can foreign investors be sure they are getting their money's worth? is there an independent body with which they can check the prices?

Following a new regulation, from Oct. 1, 2021, the Turkish government will appoint an expert company that will prepare the evaluation report so that there is no way a seller can cheat a buyer.

The process for the CBI application also requires a real estate appraisal of the property showing the minimum $250,000 value to be obtained from a capital market board certified independent appraiser.
