How can Indian investors establish satellite offices and subsidiaries in the UK?

Would foreign investors be able to get long term residency and eventually citizenship while establishing their offices in the UK? What visa option works best towards this end?

You can apply for being a representative of an overseas business visa if you want to add a branch of a business that is already established abroad. It can lead to citizenship. There are, of course, specific requirements to meet for this visa category: https://www.gov.uk/representative-overseas-business.
