The best option currently is the Qualified Investor Visa, which is Panama's recently created red carpet visa, which allows expedited and remote permanent residency (PR) application for investors willing to invest $300,000 in real estate, $500,000 in securities or $750,000 in fixed-term deposit in Panama. Upon residency approval (within 30-45 days), then a quick one trip to Panama is required.
At the moment, in order to file residency applications, a personal visit to the National Immigration Service is still mandatory, with the exception of our Qualified Investors Residency Program, where a minimum investment of $300,000 in real estate is required. The applicant will still need to visit Panama upon the residency’s approval though.
