How can qualified British nationals get expedited permits to work in Canada?

I'm a recent fresh graduate and a British national who is looking to explore his work options in Canada. I've heard that British nationals can now get work permits in Canada without being required to do market test. What are my options? Would I first need a Canadian company to sponsor me? Or can I come unsponsored and find work?

Since Jan. 1, 2021, British nationals are no longer eligible for Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) exemptions under the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). In other words, from Jan. 1 2021 until ratification is confirmed, British citizens who wish to work in Canada can only do so if they meet the requirements of an LMIA-exempt work permit category, or if they obtain an LMIA.
