How does the depreciating lira affect an investor’s investments made via the CBI program in Turkey?

Wouldn’t an investor lose money in real estate, for example, since the property they bought for $250,000 a year back, won’t be worth the same today in liras? How can investors get the best return on their investments via the CBI program in Turkey given the fact that the Turkish lira is expected to remain volatile?

Although the Turkish lira may depreciate, there is a good chance that the real estate purchased also appreciates in value; also, one could always opt for the $500,000 deposit option, where the amount could be kept in U.S. dollars.
