Is there a fast-track option for the Greek Golden Visa program?

I heard there is a backlog on applications for this program. Is there any system where one can pay extra fees to expedite the process?

Unfortunately, there is no fast track option for the Golden Visa procedure. There are serious delays regarding the application which after appointed will not be examined before apr on year.

The service of the public in all the Immigration Authorities of the Country was suspended for 30 days beginning from March 12, 2020 till April 10, 2020 due to the serious coronavirus outbreak. If the situation will become worse within the next weeks, the Greek Government will examine to extend the above period. You understand the specific measures were adopted by the Greek Government in terms of force majeure circumstances and for public health protection and there is no way to circumvent the above restrictions.

The only "accelerator" could legitimately be instead of real estate, to invest in fixed deposits, equities and bonds (of Greek enlisted companies to the stock market and Greek debt, in the region of 400,000 to 800,000 euros. If you invest, then you get faster the green light for your application.

There is not any fast-track option for the Greek Golden Visa program yet. For that reason we prefer to submit applications in specific immigration offices out of Athens, where there is not a high volume of applications, we find appointments easier and the residence cards are issued faster.

There is no fast track process. All immigration offices are closed right now until mid of April. The only way to make it quicker is to apply at the Immigration office far away from Athens, which is not so busy, in order to get it quicker.
