What happens to my citizenship application if the property I purchased is destroyed by natural disasters?

I was shocked to learn about the earthquake in Turkey today and that the property I purchased for my CBI application might be impacted. My family is staying in my home country now and we hired a property manager to take care of the house for us. We don’t know yet the extent of damages caused by the earthquake. I’m more worried about my pending citizenship application. Could it be impacted because I might not be able to "maintain" my investment?

The Turkish states that once you purchase a property, you also purchase some part of the land, where the building is constructed. Therefore, your citizenship status will not be affected since the land will stay the same even though the building on it is totally destructed. In sum, you do not need to worry about your citizenship status.

Although there is no precedent or example to your question as it pertains to earthquake, from a legal perspective, we are of the opinion that your citizenship application should not be affected given that you have already purchased the property before the Land Registry and it was registered on behalf of you.
