Can I apply for Spain’s investor visa through a passive investment instead of managing a business myself?

I have a friend who is running a successful family hotel in Barcelona. I want to invest 100,000 euros to his hotel, help him to expand the business and become a partner. However, I have my own business to attend to and would not be involved in the daily management. My consultant told me that it might be possible to use this investment to apply for an investor visa in Spain. Would this qualify?

You can invest through a passive investment, but in my opinion to invest 100,000 in a hotel does not look like enough money. However, we can study your case and the different possibilities and visas in Spain.
