There are six different options to get Turkish citizenship. The easiest and fastest option of these is to become a Turkish citizen by purchasing a property. Especially as of Sept. 9, 2018, after the disclosure of the decision on the official gazette, the required wages to be a Turkish citizen have significantly dropped. Thus, becoming a Turkish citizen has been getting easier than before, as anyone purchasing real estate worth a minimum of $250,000 can benefit from Turkish citizenship advantages. Not only does Turkey have quite valuable and rich options in the real estate area, the conveniences it provides during the citizenship process also makes the real estate investment much more appealing. When you buy a property valued above $250,000, you may apply for Turkish citizenship to the Turkish Land Registry Office. After the office check your appraisal report and bank transfer documents, it gives approval for citizenship in three to seven days. With this citizenship approval, you may apply to the Immigration Office for a contemporary residence permit. Furthermore, with both documents, you need to apply to the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship. And they usually review applications within 30 days.

At first, you need to decide which option you will choose to apply for Turkish citizenship by CBI program. Each one has different ways and different timetables. If you have $250,000, you can apply to Turkish citizenship via the fastest way by purchasing a property. But keep in mind, you can not sell your property for three years at least. In my opinion, this option is the easiest and fastest one since generally it can be concluded a maximum 3 months. On the other hand, there are also different ways. For example, you can also apply to Turkish Citizenship. Citizenship via purchasing a property is the easiest and cheapest option right now in the circle of the CBI program. Apart from the CBI program, there are also ways to apply for Turkish citizenship but they have totally different conditions.
