I'm from China and I'm interested in New Zealand's immigration programs for investors. But I'm not sure which company to take advice from since they all claim to have a license in New Zealand. How can foreign investors check the license of immigration consultants?
There is a register of all licensed immigration advisors and it is publicly available. Every licensed adviser's details have to be on this. Immigration Advisers Authority keeps the register at www.iaa.govt.nz and the list is there under 'Find an Adviser'.
Please check the New Zealand Immigration Advisers Authority website https://www.iaa.govt.nz/. You can find whether the advisor is licensed from this website.
