How can I live and work in Japan as a licensed nurse practitioner?

I am a licensed nurse practitioner in Vietnam. I was told that Japan has loosened its immigration rules to attract more skilled workers to Japan. I want to know how I can apply for a visa of Japan to work and live there. Also, do I need to get a nurse license issued in Japan to practice?

The training period and method of test for the Vietnamese nurses who come under the economic partnership agreement (EPA) were relaxed. It became easier to pass a national examination to obtain a Japanese nurse license. The basic rule that all the personnel who wish to engage in a nursing job in Japan is to obtain a Japanese license is unchanged.
