How can dependents submit biometrics separately from the principal applicant for the Maltese Residency and Visa Program?

I am the principal applicant for the Maltese Residency and Visa Program. My wife and my 16-year-old son are my dependents. My son is attending a high school in the U.S. while my wife and I are living in India. We might not be able to travel together to Malta for the biometrics. I am wondering if we can take biometrics separately and if so, do I have to take it first?

It is possible to make your son's biometry later and his e-residence card will be issued after biometry is made. You need to contact your accredited agent in this regard.

The biometrics can be taken separately, preferably by the main applicant first. We can schedule a separate time with the authorities for the other dependents.

The biometrics can be held separately. Appointments are pre-set by the authority, so it is important that your service provider informs them accordingly.
