How important is prior management experience when investors apply for a start-up visa to get permanent residency in Canada?

We are a family from Hong Kong with two young children looking to move to Canada. Would I be able to qualify for a start-up visa even though I don't have any prior management experience?

Management experience is not required by Canadian immigration authorities, so you could still be eligible. The start-up visa program offers three different streams, and has over 60 licensed designated organizations, some of them may have requirements in terms of management.

Management experience is not a requirement in the start-up program. An employee of a company without having any subordinates can qualify for this program.

Management experience is not a requirement in the start-up visa program as per the IRCC regulations. However, many designated entities consider receiving a letter of support as a big advantage.
