If I sell the property I used to get a Portuguese Golden Visa, how long do I have to get another home to maintain my legal residency?

I bought a home in Porto a few years ago and have had my Golden Visa ever since. However, I am looking to relocate to Lagos, on the other side of the country, and will need to sell my home in Porto and relocate. How can I do this without jeopardizing my visa status?

Portuguese law allows you to sell the house in Porto and buy another house, as long as it is the minimum value of 500,000 euros, without losing the right to a Golden Visa. To do this you will have to present the contract of sale of the house of Porto and the contract of purchase of the house of Lagos, with the respective documentation.
