What are the employment restrictions on applicants of Spain’s immigration investment program?

I am planning to purchase real estate in Madrid and get a resident permit. Although I am not interested in setting up my own business, I might work for local companies after I settle down. Do I need to apply for a work permit as a participant of Spain’s immigration investment program? What are the employment requirements?

There are no employment restrictions on the immigration investment program. Article 65 of the Entrepeneur Act is clear regarding the effects of the resident visa for investors when it literally describes that the resident visa for investors will constitute sufficient title to reside and work in Spain during its validity.
