In Bulgaria, the citizenship by investment program is regulated by different laws. These laws need to be approved by the parliament and then by the president of Bulgaria. At this moment, the latest relevant legislation is from March 2021. Rumors about the end of the program have been circulating since many years, yet it has survived so far.
