What options do non-EU digital nomads currently have in Greece?

I’m a British remote worker employed by a firm in the U.S. I’ve heard the Greek government is planning to launch a special visa for digital nomads that would allow people from non-EU countries like me to stay for at least for a year and work for my company. What are my options in Greece as a digital nomad?

The new law introduces amendments in the current tax legislation regarding special taxation of employment services and business activity income arising in Greece, earned by individuals who transfer their tax residence in Greece. So, your options in participating in this tax regime is to stay for at least two years and either via your company you establish a Greek subsidiary, or you to start a business activity in Greece by selling your services to your foreign company.

There are already some laws providing a route to highly-trained employees to come to Greece if they have an international contract and their services are needed.
