You need to receive Greek citizenship. In order to get Citizenship, you need to stay seven years constantly in Greece, at least 10 months per year. You need to learn Greek and Greek history and prove the bonds you have built with the country.

There is no EU citizenship. As a Greek Golden Visa holder, you have a free pass to all EU members.

The Greek golden visa provides you the right to apply for two categories of EU residency and citizenship. The first is the EU residency permit. In order to acquire the EU residency permit, you shall prove five years of permanent and legal residency in Greece; prove the knowledge of the Greek language, history and civilization. In order to avoid this requirement, you have to prove 12 years of permanent and legal residency in Greece. You also need to have an income in Greece. The second is to apply for Greek citizenship. In order to acquire the Greek citizenship, you shall prove seven years of permanent and legal residency in Greece; prove the knowledge of the Greek language, history and civilization; acquire an income in Greece; prove that you are integrated in the Greek society and civilization.

The applicants must fulfill all the preconditions of the Greek Citizenship Code applied for the acquisition of Greek citizenship by naturalization. One must be at least 18 years old at the time of the application for naturalization; be able to prove seven years of permanent and legal residency in Greece; have less than 6 months of absence per year from Greece; not be convicted of sentences for more than six months, for certain types of crimes, or for more than one year for crimes that have been committed intentionally; keep a permanent residency permit of the types that are recognized by the law, including a Golden Visa. So you are eligible to submit for Citizenship as Golden Visa holder after seven years.

Please be aware that the citizenship procedure is different from the golden visa procedure and is not issued automatically. You will need to be eligible on this in order to proceed with this action according to various perquisites that are in force according to the law.
