With Brexit around the corner, can EEA citizens apply for any of the investment immigration programs of the U.K.?

I understand that so far, all investment immigration programs only apply to nationals outside the EEA and Switzerland. However, with the possibility of Brexit, EU citizens who used to be able travel and work in the U.K. freely might be subject to new restrictions. Are there are any changes to these programs to include EU and EEA citizens?

At present EU nationals have "free movement" to live, work and invest in the U.K. When the U.K. leaves the EU, whenever this date is, in December 2018 Theresa May announced that on Oct. 31, 2019, free movement will come to an end unless this date is changed. This means from Nov. 1, 2019, any EU national wanting to invest in the U.K. will fall under the business immigration rules, meaning you have to apply under one of three visa options: exceptional talent, innovator or investor. My advice is try and enter the U.K. before the U.K. departs the EU. You will save thousands of pounds in visa and immigration health surcharge fees.
