Can U.K. citizens participate in the Golden Visa program of Portugal after Brexit?

I am a U.K. citizen. I have extensive business relationships with companies in Portugal. In the past I have never needed any kind of visa to visit and stay for an extended period of time in Portugal. However, Brexit may change things. Should I participate in the Golden Visa program to keep the same level of mobility? Am I eligible for this program?

After Brexit, without an agreement, all British citizens will be able to apply for the gold visa as any non-European Union citizen. If Brexit is made by agreement, the conditions for British citizens will be defined and enforced in the agreement that will apply between the United Kingdom and the European Union. British citizens applying for a certificate of registration in Portugal until the date of Brexit will retain their right to enter and leave the European Union without any additional visa.
