What are the requirements of applying for permanent residency after holding an innovator visa of the U.K. for three years?

I am preparing my application for the innovator visa of the U.K. I understand that I would be able to apply for permanent residency after holding this visa for three years. What are the requirements? Do I still need to keep running the business I used for my innovator visa after obtaining permanent residency?

The newly introduced Innovator visa is granted for three years if you first find a UK endorsing body that approves your business as innovative, creative and viable. The visa can be renewed every 3 years, it has no time limited as long as your UK endorsing body confirms that your business is still genuine and valid. To obtain UK settlement status, you need to be on the Innovator visa for five years and must comply to the guidelines as stipulated in the immigration rules and your UK endorsing body confirms your business is being run in accordance to your business plan and their guidance. If you decide to stop running a business prior to obtaining UK settlement status, you will have to switch into a new immigration route to remain in the UK.
