However, it is important to highlight that: - The project must be approved by competent entities, such as the Directorate-General for the Arts (DGArtes) or the Institute for Conservation and Restoration. portugalpathways.io - Approval of these projects can be complex and time-consuming, and there are reports of difficulties in obtaining responses from the responsible authorities. - There is no pre-approved list of projects, which requires the investor to identify and propose a project that meets the established criteria. Final Considerations Although the Golden Visa program in Portugal has been reformulated, it remains active and offers opportunities for investors, including the option of investing in the arts. However, due to the complexities associated with this modality, it is recommended: - Carefully evaluate the requirements and challenges involved in approving artistic projects. - Consider other investment options available under the program that may be more viable. - Consult us, as we specialize in immigration and investments in Portugal for specific and up-to-date guidance.

Will Portugal close its golden visa program like Spain did?
So, from what I have learned, Spain no longer has a golden visa. Will Portugal go down the same path, given they already ended the property investments? I am concerned that if I apply now for Portugal, they will decide to end things mid-application. I am looking into the Arts option for Portugal, but I'm still undecided.
