Can I apply for a Portugal D7 visa with a past DUI?

I have a criminal record from South Korea. Two years ago, I was involved in a DUI incident where my blood alcohol level was 0.156%. Unfortunately, I caused minor injuries (two people with a two-week recovery each). I received a ₩7,000,000 fine (approx. €4,800) but no prison sentence, and I am a first-time offender. In Korea, this is considered a criminal offense, but not a felony, and it did not lead to imprisonment. I am concerned because I read that Portugal may deny D7 visas if the offense would be punishable by more than 1 year in prison under Portuguese law. Can I still apply for a D7 visa in this situation?

According to Portuguese law, if you have been convicted of a crime that, in Portugal, is punishable by a custodial sentence of more than one year, even if this has not been served or its execution has been suspended, you cannot have a residence permit. In Portugal, anyone driving with a blood alcohol level equal to or greater than 1,20g/L is subject to criminal punishment.
