Does my son automatically obtain Grenadian citizenship if I become a citizen through the CBI program?

I obtained my Grenadian citizenship last year. My wife is pregnant. When the baby is born, will he inherit the Grenadian citizenship automatically even if he will be born in our home country?

Your son can apply for citizenship of Grenada.

The simple answer is yes. You can apply through your local agent.

Your baby does not automatically obtain citizenship. You will need to make an application for his/her registration as a citizen of Grenada. Please contact an attorney-at-law in Grenada to assist you.
