How can I apply for Malta Residency & Visa Program if I can't meet the net worth requirements by myself?

My family is considering applying for the Malta Residency & Visa Program. However, neither my wife nor I have an annual income of 100,000 euros. We have some properties in our home country but they are co-owned by me and my wife. None of us could meet the 500,000 euros net assets threshold alone. Can we submit the application jointly?

Kindly note that the requirements for the Malta residency and visa program apply to the main applicant who, alone, must be in receipt of an annual income of not less than 100,000 euros arising outside Malta or has capital of not less than 500,000 euros. Thus, we regret to inform you that a joint application is not acceptable.

The €500,000 net worth requirement may be satisfied by the joint net worth of the spouses. So the spouses together need to show a net worth or €500,000 or more.
