How can I buy property in Saint Lucia on a loan and still qualify for citizenship?

I'm planning my retirement and wondering if I could buy property in Saint Lucia to qualify for a citizenship but the property would be purchased on loan. Would this make me eligible for the passport?

If you buy property in Saint Lucia, depending on your country of nationality, you will need to apply for an alien landholding license. Then you are entitled to apply for an Entrance Permit that allows you (and your qualifying dependents) to enter and remain in Saint Lucia for the duration of that license.
