How can I use various assets to qualify for the Quebec Investor Immigration Program?

I am wondering if it is possible to take out a loan to make the investment for the Quebec program. A lot of my net worth is tied up in various investments. I would prefer to hold onto those investments rather than liquidating some of them. What is the best way to use my investments to qualify for this program?

You may definitely take out such a loan to make your investment under the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program. This being said, the way you finance your investment has nothing to do with the actual requirements of the QIIP. Most important is to show that you have a net worth above CA$2,000,000 (legally acquired) through any kind of assets that belongs to you and/or your spouse. Quebec immigration authorities do not care how you finance your investment: it is not at all a requirement.
