What are the “character” requirements for Australia investor visas?

I am looking into the businss innovation stream to immigrate to Australia but feel worried about the requirements. What about the “character” one? How do they find good or bad character, and how is it determined?

Detected from police clearance certificates both in your home of origin and anywhere else you have lived.

Character checks for Australian visas are carried out through police background checks from every country where the visa applicant has lived for a period of 12 months in the last 10 years. Based on the results of these checks, it will be determined if the visa applicant is of good character.
