What are the regulations regarding work permits for foreign investors in Turkey?

If I apply for a long-term residency permit and receive it, will that automatically grant me the right to work?

Work permits are also residence permits, however, residence permits alone do not permit work. Work permits need to be tied to a local employer (both employer and employee application) and there are minimum criteria to apply (capital, investment, skill and salary limits apply along with requirements to have a sufficient amount of Turkish employees on payroll, etc.).
