What is the likelihood of the Cyprus Citizenship program coming back?

I heard talks that the program will be revised with stricter requirements that will come back next year, at a higher cost. How likely will it be reactivated?

It is very unlikely that the CIP will return as such. A future reactivation is possible with, of course, stricter criteria, but I don't see any new schemes before 2023.

The Cyprus government has not announced yet if there will be a new program and if so, what will be the conditions.
