My mother is Malaysian but I’ve never lived there, only visited. Now I’m 23 and considering applying for Malaysian citizenship which I am entitled to through maternal connection. I have two other nationalities. My concern is Malaysia doesn’t allow dual citizenship, so I might be willing to drop one of the other nationalities but not both. Would they be able to find out about my other nationality if I don’t declare it?
