Yes, you can obtain the Golden Visa for Portugal by making a bank transfer in the amount of 1 million euros. Keep this amount deposited in the bank. You must have an average quarterly balance in this amount. The financial entity to which it makes the transfer must be authorized by the Bank of Portugal. There are many banking entities in Portugal eligible for this purpose.
How can I get a Portuguese Golden Visa by making a capital transfer?
I read about making a 1 million-euro transfer in company stocks and shares as a way to get the visa. How does one do this? Are there only certain eligible companies or shares that can be used for this purpose?
I think you are confusing three different types of investment. One option is to make a capital transfer with a value equal to or above 1 million euros. Another one is a capital transfer of the amount of 350,000 euros, or higher, for the acquisition of units of investment funds or venture capital fund of funds dedicated to the capitalization of companies, capital injected under the Portuguese legislation, whose maturity at the moment ofthe investment is at least five years and at least, 60% of the investments is realized in commercial companies with head office in national territory. There is also a capital transfer of the amount of 350,000 euros, or higher, for constitution of a commercial society with head office in the national territory, combined with the creation of five permanent working jobs, or for the reinforcement of the share capital of a commercial society with head office in national territory, already existing, with the creation or keeping of working jobs, with a minimum of five permanent jobs and for a minimum period of three years. I would advise option one or two for ease of process and speed.
