For the QIIP, the requirement pertaining to the management experience is the exercise for at least two years in the five years preceding the application for a selection certificate, of duties related to the planning, management and control of financial resources and of human or material resources under your authority. Therefore, you cannot apply before you have completed at least 24 months as a manager of your company in Beijing (unless you have prior relevant experience which could be counted). However, you could still start the preparation of your file in advance and submit your file around November 2018, when you will have cumulated 24 months of management experience.
