If I purchase a joint property along with my wife for about €600K, would that qualify us both for the Greek golden visa?

Or does it have to be owned by just one of us?

The co-ownership status is allowed in Greek Golden Visa scheme, under the condition for each investor to participate with the min. amount of €250.000 or €500,000 depending on the area of the property. This rule is not applicable when we are speaking for spouses or partners. The price refers to the price indicated on the contract. In cases of joint ownership of the real estate property by spouses, the residence right is granted to both spouses either on a 250.000 or 500.000 euro contract, depending on the area.

It will qualify only in the areas where 250k is the threshold. In the areas of 500k, you need to have full ownership.
