Is the New Zealand visa still worth it with the new prices?

I just found out the New Zealand visa prices are going up. I was planning on applying next year for the Active Investor Plus visa because the price was very competitive compared with other options. But now I am not so sure. Also, I see I have until October to apply, which rushes my plans almost a year! Will the program still be effective in a year's time with the new fees?

While the investor visa prices have gone up, there is no specific indication that requirements will change. If you can meet the requirements and relevant documents ready it would be good option to apply before October to avoid any changes in requirements later that could affect the eligibility.
