What can I invest in for Portugal’s golden visa to not get stuck in the backlog?
I heard that there are certain investments that are still being processed in Portugal. What can I invest in to be able to move forward with a golden visa application without getting stuck in the delayed processing?

All applications submitted before 2022 are being processed. Regarding new ones, during the first 6 months, only the job creation and cultural options were being accepted. Recently - 3rd week of June - the Immigration Office is already accepting all applications regardless of the pathway of investment.

SEF started this week again processing all files, so it will not depend on the type of investment!

Since June 14th, SEF is accepting submissions based on all modalities of investment. Before this date, it was possible to submit applications based on modalities that did not change with the new law: the creation of 10 jobs; and the transfer of capital equal to or greater than €250,000 for investment in culture and cultural heritage.
