What do we need to do for our daughter who turned 18 after we applied for Turkish citizenship by investment but before we obtained it?

We got Turkish citizenship by investment. We are a family of 5. When we applied, my oldest daughter was 17 years old, but by the time we obtained the citizenship, she turned 18. She was included in our application. Now that we have citizenship, do we have to apply for her again? Does it count that she was 17 when we first applied? If we need to do an extra procedure for her, can she at least obtain permanent residency in the meantime?

If the child is not yet 18 years old at the time of application for Turkish citizenship by investment, the following steps should be followed: If the application has not yet been finalized, the child's marital status certificate (certificate of celibacy) is attached to the application file. If the application is made through a lawyer, a power of attorney is given to the lawyer by the child. If one of the children has reached the age of 18 at the time the citizenship application is approved, the following steps should be followed: A new citizenship application must be submitted on behalf of the child. A certificate of celibacy, passport translation, birth certificate, family registration certificate are required documents. In short, if the child is not 18 years old at the time of the citizenship application, he/she can acquire citizenship through investment in any case.

According to the information provided by the Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs, an application shall be made to the CBI application authority noting the fact that the minor child is now an adult for a separate citizenship file to be opened for such adult (additional and updated documents will need to be submitted).
