What is the best visa option for foreign FinTech professionals who want to live in the UK?

I've heard the UK has launched several visa options for qualified foreign professionals but is there anything specific for fintech professionals? What is the quickest route for talented professionals looking to stay for the long term in the UK?

There several options you can explore: The first one is the Skilled Worker: you need to be employed by a licensed sponsor to apply to live in the UK. Use this link to check the list (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/935930/2020-11-17_Tier_2_5_Register_of_Sponsors.pdf) of licensed sponsor companies in the UK. Usually the visa duration is for 3 years, depends on the agreements with the employer, and can be extended. List of: Skilled Occupations (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-skilled-occupations), Shortage Occupation List (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-shortage-occupation-list). Fees: Home Office: Apply (outside the UK): 610 - 1,220 British pounds (depending on amount of years); £464 - £928 (shortage occupation list); IHS (health surcharge fees): £624 per year that has to be paid for the whole period when you submit the application, therefore, 3 years = £1872. The second one is Global Talent: Global Talent visa, which replaced the Exceptional Talent category, allows you to come to the UK and contribute to the economy by either starting up your own project or by working at an existing company. Visa is granted for the period of one to five years (the applicant gets to choose). The first stage of your application is obtaining endorsement (receive approval of the "talent" from accredited UK government institution). Fees: Endorsement fees is £456 (may vary), Home Office application (£152), IHS health surcharge fees (£624 per year). All options lead to Indefinite Leave to Remain in 3-5 years time, subject to the applicant meeting the qualifying criteria. All options allow you to add dependents to the main application and bring your family to the UK.
