I’m an investor from a non-EU country and I’m not sure if I want to open a startup business in Canada about which I have very little firsthand experience. What other less riskier investment options would you advise me?
You don't need firsthand experience in startups to apply under this program; you could very well be a minority shareholder in a startup company where the founder has firsthand experience. As an investor, you may just be an ideal candidate for the startup visa program for Canada.
