What will happen to existing applicants of the UK's sole representative visa when it expires next week?

I've heard the UK is ending the Representative of an Overseas Business visa. Would this have any affect on existing visa holders? Would they be able to still renew it?

You can still extend the visa for those who already have sole representative visa, but this route closes to any new applicants from April 11 and new UK Expansion route will open.

The Representative of Overseas Business visa category will be replaced by the Global Business Mobility – UK Expansion Worker visa route on the 11th of April 2022. The Global Business Mobility – UK Expansion Worker visa category caters to senior managers or specialist employees based overseas, who are being assigned to the UK to undertake work related to a business’s expansion to the UK, where the business has not yet begun trading in the UK. Unlike the existing Sole Representative visa route, the UK Expansion visa category will not be a route to settlement. Those, who are currently present in the UK as Representatives of Overseas business, will be extended their visas and settle in the UK.
