What would you advise investors looking to get passports from Antigua without traveling during the pandemic?

What are options for Kenyan investors in Antigua and Barbuda if their interest is only in gaining quick passports? Please give me timelines for entire process from start to finish.

One of the distinct advantages of the Antigua & Barbuda citizenship-by-investment program is that you can make an application, go through the diligence process and be granted citizenship without having to visit prior to certificates and passports being issued. You are, however, required to make a one-time, five-day visit at some point in the first five years of your citizenship. In general, the timeline from the day you sign up with a licensed agent to represent you in your application to being granted citizenship varies between four and six months. The process can be quite fast (i.e. approval within 60 days of submission) if your submission paperwork is organized quickly between you and your agent, and your supporting documentation is in order. Whether you make a government donation, which is less expensive in terms of upfront cost, or you decide to make a real estate investment, there is no difference to the timeline of your citizenship. Antigua & Barbuda has a very healthy vacation property market and in the medium-to long term this is a much more cost effective route. You can earn net rental income annually from a well-managed property and you can resell it if you wish after the five-year mandatory holding period. I advise all my clients to review the property options as it can be a rewarding investment financially. Certainly from a lifestyle perspective, it can be priceless endeavor if you spend time in Antigua & Barbuda, which many new citizens end up doing because it’s such a great place, especially in the winter months of November til April. Antigua & Barbuda is also easily accessible as it's the flight hub of the region with the largest, newest International airport in the Eastern Caribbean. You won’t be disappointed as a new citizen here.
